7:40 - Doors Open/Arrival Needed

8:00 - 1:30 - Rehearsal Time in Football Stadium

  • We’ll have a 30-40 minute lunch break, with at least one other 10 minute break in this chunk

    • Pack a Lunch, please. No leaving school grounds. It can be brought to you if needed

1:30 - Load Trailers, Rest, Get Ready for Contest

  • Wind instruments and flags will go under the bus. Uniforms will go on the bus with you.

3:00 - Attendance in Band Room

3:10 - Depart GHS

4:25 - Arrive at Bluffton High School

4:55 - Change into Uniforms

5:55 - Line Up in Transit Block

6:02 - Transit

6:07 - 6:22 - Physical Warm-Up

6:22 - Transit

6:27 - 6:57 - Music Warm-Up

6:57 - Transit

7:12 - Stage

7:15 - Performance

7:30 - Back to Buses - change

  • Afterwards, go to the student section to watch other groups perform. You will be able to watch Class B and Class A.

10:00 - Awards

  • The WHOLE BAND must be present together for awards. You must all sit together as a group!

~10:30 - Depart Bluffton High School

  • Mr. H will talk with students right after awards and send them on the bus as quickly as possible.

~11:30 - Arrive at GHS

  • Watch the BAND app for arrival times posted by parents.

2:15 - 2:30 - Physical Warm-Up

2:35 - 3:05 - Music Warm-Up

  • Students will meet with Mr. Hettinger briefly post-awards and head back to GHS directly afterwards. Equipment should be put away in the band room upon arrival. Students are dismissed after their things are packed up.

Parent Preview

We will present our annual parent preview performance at the practice lot!

You are welcome to come onto the field and watch students perform. We will do 2 run-throughs, and let the students go. This is the demonstration of everything they have learned from June through band camp! Please park outside the PAC, near Door 10.
